Beach week
So just wanted to share a few photos from our Myrtle Beach trip. So consider this like a book made for a toddler, more pictures less words :)

We made it!
Apparently Tenleigh just likes to travel, because she did so good, BOTH days! I'm thankful, because let's be real...20hrs of crying would surely test anyone's sanity, I don't care how patient you are.
She got her first taste of beach life today.
She loves the water. Such a happy little water bug. Not that I want her to grow up too quickly, but I can't wait to see what she thinks next year when she is a little more mobile.
She also got her first Hungry Howies experience. I'm sure she will grow to love it as much as her Dad does, or Nana for that matter.
We got settled into our new condo, and I am so greatful for the extra space. Plenty of space in our room for a pack and play.....AND all the mountains of other baby stuff that you "have to have"
Here's to a week of having a plethora of wine to choose from at the grocery store. (Kansas really needs to consider it, just saying 😉)
Corbett's become the Griswold's
How does a 3.5 month old travel on a 20 hour road trip? Apparently like this...
Oh and like this...
She slept probably 16 of the 18 hrs we traveled today. And when she was up, she was either eating or watching The Hive on Netflix. If we would have a place to stay in Myrtle, I would have suggested we just keep going, based on how well she did. (I mean, I'm still thinking this may be a fluke...and who wants to test their luck on day 2?!?) We have stopped in Columbia,SC for the evening. It could be a long day tomorrow if she decides to snap out of her fantastic traveling habits. Time shall tell, fingers crossed. 2.5 hrs to go!
Love, the Griswolds ;)

Beach Prep
To take a baby to the beach, a few more items are required than normal (to say the least) which is why we decided to test our sanity and road trip the 20 hrs to the beach. Here is Tenleigh's Beach Baby Survival list:
You need some fancy wheels.... CHECK!
And a beach chair...CHECK!
And a big beach umbrella...CHECK!
And of course a cute beach wardrobe...CHECK!
And you have to make sure your suits fit...
And last but not least, you need to get it all in the car...CHECK,CHECK,CHECK!
Wish us luck, we only have a few more days to change our road tripping minds and buy some last minute airline tickets :)

Baby Baptism
Today was a very special day for our babe, Tenleigh got baptized.
We chose my brother Eric and my cousin Kellie to be Tenleigh's godparents. Fr. Chuck was even able to baptize her. After the baptism, we had a small dinner/reception at my parents house.
Kellie has been taking very well to her new title, The Godmother. She has asked that everyone refer to her by that title from here on out :)
Baby Buddies
Tenleigh got to meet a new friend today, Miss Claire! The Dads met up on Fathers Day to catch up and let the little ladies "chat". Claire is such a cutie, I think both of these dad's will be in trouble when these girls hit high school :)
Birthday Partier
Miss Tenleigh attended her first, of what I'm sure will quickly become many, birthday party! Her little "boyfriend" turned 1. What can I say, she likes the older ones ;) Our little "serious Sally" really did have fun. She was a little cranky after a while, but hanging by the pool, chatting with the other babes, can really take it out of ya. Happy Birthday, Deacon!

tCk - 2 months
Holy, how did we get to two months!?! I know I have said this before, but time is flying! I return to work tomorrow and our baby girl is growing ever so quickly. So much has happened over the last month from swimming to smiles! I also have a feeling we are going to have a Miss Independent on our hands. She loves to sit up, but doesn't want to have any help :) Happy 2 Months T-bug!

Operation: Organization
So, I like to think that everyone has that one little space in their house where there is absolutely no organization. Be it a storage room, garage, etc. Well, I am an OCD organizer, so I have done my best to eliminate all areas. But, our guest room closet has become an absolute dumping ground. It has cake supplies, wedding decorations, baby supplies, wrapping paper, etc. It has gotten to the point where I don't even want to open the door because I can't get to anything. So, after some research, I decided to put a halt to the insanity.
Gather up your saw, screw driver, and wood and let's do this.
First, a visual of what we started with (for the record, posting this picture is raising my anxiety level):
This project was actually pretty easy. We worked on it over a couple days for a couple hours. I think organizing all my cake stuff actually took more time than the project.
Everything now has a place and my anxiety has left the building....for now.

tCk - 6 weeks
I feel like the last six weeks and flown by and drug on forever all at the same time. Because that makes sense, right?! :) Allow me to clarify, the nights when Tenleigh sleeps - those days fly by - when she decides to party all...night...long - those days drag on and on...and on. Thank goodness we have more "flying" than "dragging". I can't believe I go back to work in about 2 weeks. *Ugh*
So what happens when you have a six week old precious babe? Pictures, of course! We did these in a hurry, but got a few pictures. I'm going to have to take some more, because you can never have too many pics! It's also getting nice outside, so our location and scenery will soon have a lot more options!
she's just not sure about the hat :)
and pictures are not always fun! I love this picture!
This past week we had our first pedi. Rocking the pick toes!
